…on the day our country was born I had an impromptu dance party in a cemetery to “don’t stop till you get enough” and “thriller” with a thousand of my closest friends before an outdoor screening of JAWS. Boom goes the dynamite.

About this wonderful blog!! Just finished a weekend of recording and two shows in Colorado. Steph is putting string parts on a new song for me this next week. In less than 8 weeks I will no longer have an apartment as I will be living on the road while playing music. YGOL!

Being a hometown rockstar is awesome
I just had an interview with 225 Magazine in Baton Rouge. The interview is going to run in the August issue and during the interview he asked where I was planning on playing when I came back in town in August. I mentioned that I was trying to book a show at Chelsea’s (which is awesome) and right as we were having this conversation/interview, the owner of Chelsea’s walked in the door....

50 Mile Ultramarathon
I’ve entered my first 50 mile ultramarathon. It will be in Northern California on August 8th and I’m recruiting all of you to be on my support crew.
Also - trail run tomorrow at 6:00 am. I love that the only thing in my life I’ve had to wake up early for in the past 9 months have been to run or catch airplanes. I love my life.
